Each and every single items from groceries to new house, the prices has increased because of increasing cost. The lack of buying power is the main cause for any economic slowdown. People don't have extra money. I heard this recession/doom period always repeats once in 10 year bubble. First, it happened around 1997, now it is happening again. I don't know how many bubbles I can see more, but this is tough time and those who really work hard and smart only survive. The world economy has badly effected from oil increase.
