Some Currency experts predict

It was, no doubt, a great come back when the greenback got back the lost glory during April. But some currency experts are of the view this glory is transient and it will not prove long lasting.

All we can say the dying dollar showed some signs of life during the previous month but it was not a complete recovery .Only the coming days can tell, what is gong to happen but predictions are not going in favor of the greenback.

During April we saw the greenback dropped record low against euro then things began to change and the greenback recovered a little bit during the recent weeks and it helped those expectations that the Federal Reserve’s insistent rate-cutting campaign might have reached at end.

It has become one of most concerning issues of world. It is becoming the reason of a high price level in the consumer market. So the demand and supply of the commodities are badly affected.

Impact on consumer demands

The prices of commodities such as wheat, sugar, salt, spices, bread, vegetables, fruits, meat etc increased at such a huge level that has diminished the demands of the consumers. On the other hand it is the compulsion of the people to buy groceries for their survival.

Increasing oil prices cause inflation

The economic analysts are saying regarding the dilemma of inflation that it is occurred due to the increase in oil prices in United States. One barrel of oil is reached up to $126 a few days ago, which has become the major concern of sustaining the US economy. Furthermore both the political parties of democrat and republican have failed to control upon the inflation and most of the people blamed to US regime.

The student loan conditions were not satisfactory during April. Schools were demanding noisily to get financial support direct from the government as lenders were not issuing loans.

But then the scenario totally changed within a week

Before summer, the complete effects of the credit crisis on this year’s student borrowers will not be seen, the time when students receive their monetary aid proffers, the government will take steps to make sure that money will be offered to those who want it to give for school during the winter.

According to the Federal Reserve announcement on 2nd May, their Term Securities lending facility would be opened to student loans and lenders who were not capable to offer packages of student loans in the minor markets now they will trade them for the secure treasury bills.

NEW YORK (Reuters) Little change has been observed in stocks on Monday even after the largest deal of takeover in U.S. during this year the deal also helped to compensate the remarks by Warren Buffett that the decline in economic activity in the country would be even longer and deeper than it has been described by the many experts. Warren Buffett is also one of the supporters of that deal.

The deal between M&M candy maker Mars Inc and Wm Wrigley Jr. Co (WWY.N) which is the world’s biggest chewing gum manufacturer gave some life and hope to the dying M&A market in the country. Berkshire Hathaway owned by Buffett is going to sponsor the $23 billion purchase.

The deal highlighted the view that stocks are rather inexpensive with assessments perched close to their lowest in almost twelve years.

While talking to CNBC television Buffet stated that the decline in economic activity in the U.S would be even longer and deeper that it has been described by many experts in the U.S and other part of the world.

Tick, tick one…… tick, tick two….tick, tick three ……and lo the time has come after three months of glitzy war of words between Yahoo and Microsoft that started after Yahoo’s refusal to Microsoft’s bid for buyout.

Today is the last day of the time limit that Microsoft announced for Yahoo three weeks back to accept its takeover bid or get ready for even more unfriendly bid or a choice to Microsoft to discard the offer completely.On the other hand, Yahoo has rejected Microsoft’s offer many times and has been asking for a more suitable value.

In the current internet scenario Yahoo and Microsoft are not looking competent enough to stay before Google which is taking a lion’s share in online ads and playing the role of a leading player in attaining online ads.Microsoft and Yahoo both are trying their level best to grip the ad market but most of the experts are of the view that it is quite difficult for Yahoo and Microsoft to compete Google separately and only their merger can create a possibility to challenge Google’s authority.

Pletz has emphatic demands for alteration at Wendy’s like by product production of the Tim Hortons coffee-and-donut series and reduction of company expenditures to make company’s stock price higher.Train fund owned by Peltz and his other partners have 9.8% of stock related to Wendy.

This tactic is very similar to those as Peltz used where his company Trian became a notable shareholder.Train has the shares of The Cheesecake Factory Inc, Tiffany & Co etc.
The deal comes as Wendy’s struggles with declining profits and weak sales compared with rivals McDonald’s Corp. and Burger King Holdings Inc.
